About this place
Whether you are looking for a spiced meal or a quiet pause with a cup of tea or wine, Cafe sept in Nakanobu caters comfortably to both. At the center of the food menu is the "whim" keema curry, a gluten-free preparation served alongside a salad, with a choice of multigrain rice or bread. For something warm and savory to share, the cafe also bakes a pizza topped with fresh tomatoes, cheese, and additive-free, MSG-free smoked bacon from Marutetsu Shokai.
The beverage lineup takes an original direction, featuring a house caffeine-free herbal blend made with rooibos, chamomile, and sweet orange peel, as well as a warming hot spiced chai. Cold offerings include rich banana shakes, pomegranate juice, and a gentle amazake milk. During the afternoon or into the evening, glasses of Moldovan red or white wine, sparkling wine, and regional awamori offer a relaxed excuse to linger.
Paintings, artwork, and small craft goods decorate the interior, making the calm surroundings an integral part of the experience. A selection of baked sweets and desserts—including an iced cheesecake with nuts and fruit, petite cheese muffins, and mini walnut-maple scones—makes the cafe an appealing spot to drop by for something sweet during a neighborhood walk.
